Hi I'm just wanting to get some fellow reefers opinions on Hannah checkers. I want to know if they are really worth getting or if I should just stick with original testing kits?

Depends on what you're wanting to test for. A few are worth it, but the others are a waste of money.

Is there a specific level or two that You are looking at these for?

Idk, I've honestly never really worried about my levels because I had just fish and did weekly water changes. But now I'm starting to get more into corals and dosing so I'm starting to monitor my levels. I'm just trying to see if people like them and find them easier to use then other standard test kits. And I'll Jat be monitoring the basic levels. Kh, calcium, ph, ammonia, nitrate, and nitrite.

Or triton ;)
Really there is nothing wrong with hanna.
if there was they would be out of business.
people just don't know how to properly use them

Calcium works good too for Hannah. But like twilliard says you have to know how to use them

Hanna Alk IMO is one of the best alk test out there very accurate I daily test my alk and its always spot on.

I absolutely love my hanna alk. I also use the phosphate checker as well and def recommend it. I used to own the calcium checker as well but found it to be a bit too touchy and sold it and use red sea calcium kits.

I have never got anything but 0 on my hannah phosphate checker. I should have got the hanna Phosphorus Ultra Low Range checker.
Love my alk tester and have Red Sea for the rest.

Same story, hanna for alk, phosphates, and if I choose to do so Ca. For Mag and Ca Salifert and Red Sea. My hanna alk is right on always and I test every 3 days.

Hanna Alkalinity and Hanna Phosphate AWESOME! Hanna Calcium SUCKS not accurate, pain in the ****, readings are always different even when I tested back to back...

I only have the phosphate ultra low range checker and it's easy and most accurate that I have used. I'm looking to buy a alkalinity checker but use salifert for the rest of the testing
