After 5 months setup and a 25 year wait I'm dipping my toes into corals.
Thanks Chad Chapman!!!

Well one thing I didn't plan for was where would I put the frags until I determined ultimately where they would go, so I just made this frag rack.
I am waiting till its sets to wash it and use it.
The frag rack itself is from an old drip plate from my second wet dry filter that's over 30 yrs old lol
I knew it would come in handy lol

Anything that works. For a long time my frag rack was just some of those light diffuser grids made into a rack. I have since bought a cheap magnetic rack and really like it.

My first thought was light diffuser but while sitting in my basement looking at my tank I saw the old drip plate and I have a bunch of scrap acrylic so there it goes. I however will go your route with a magnetic rack too. I may just go to my LFS get some scraps of live rock and glue in magnets. We'll see.

The only thing I would question is the height of the home made rack not being adjustable .
you don’t have a choice if you wanted to lower it for acclimating

I agree, but hopefully within a few days I'll have made several magnetic racks, ordering magnets today, I just needed something today.
