Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads out there!, as I sit here and fill out a card for my dad, I thought I would post a Thread this morning to let all our dads know that we love em' after all if it hadn't been for there "Donation" we wouldn't be here to enjoy this hobby. I probably would not have been in this hobby if when I was thirteen, my dad had not seen m y interest, and helped me, he drove me clear across town to help me buy a used 20 gal long Odell fish tank, then after helping me set it up, I remember going to the old aquarium imports and buying my first few fish, I was grinning so big, not just because it was a new aquarium, but because he showed interest in something I was interested in, and because he took time out of his really busy schedule to to run a little kid across town and put up with some weirdo lady who thought the fish tank was made of gold or something, and took the time to learn what it would take to set this stuff up. I just want to let you know, I love you, and I thank you for getting me into this hobby. now at thirty eight, I have always maintained an aquarium ever since, { more like seven or eight } Thanks Dad
