Didn't see the link to facebook, so I can't compare to those. I was in on the GB. The white on the skirts depend on the polyp, some have lots of white while others don't. Most have a moderate amount of white, don't know if they color up after a few months, I've only had them for 2 days. Sweet magician looking z for the price, don't see the people eater connection though. He ships in damp newspaper, so if you have a problem with that...

Do you know if the leader of the GB lost any polyps due to the shipping in newspaper? I've recently read about this shipping method, and understand that the polyps will need a lot of flow. Can you tell me how long after the shipping did you receive yours. A tiny bit concerned about receiving my frags in this manner. But I do see you have multiple frags

Those really kind of look like these below I will take better pictures today. What do you guys think?

We didn't lose any, placed them in front of a k3 for a little bit and they opened up. A few are looking grim though, not melted just withered and leaning over. We researched and found that the polyps die if you don't put them under high flow. This is due to the slime buildup.

The Happy people eaters that i picked up are similar to the pic that Ben posted, but they are definitely a little different.

I got some of these Happy people eaters as well and they don't look like the intergalactic PE as they are really metallic looking IMO. Definitely not as cool looking as the pics they posted but still cool.

got mine today also....i like them especially for the price...Funny how they are popping up everywhere. That's when you know they are plentiful...

I also noticed this. A couple of days after the article, I've seen some big colonies for sale. Not only by vendors, but also from members on here and other sites. Did people just think they were magicians, or intergalatic PE? And you're right, gotta love the price.

I would say that its more likely that transhippers just brought in a large supply of them, and wholesalers are getting them out to the vendors. Some hobbiests have a connection with certain vendors, so they may have picked up decent sized colonies for very reasonable prices and are now flipping them. I find it highly unlikely that with the number that are suddenly showing up that these are home grown or aquacultured by anyone at this point. This could be good or bad, as these newer harvested pieces have more of a tendency to have issues with survival as well as a greater likelyhood of morphing under our tank lighting.
