I picked up one of these just for grins to see how well it would work for vacuuming out my sump.. to my surprise it preformed unbelievably well! It well exceeds manufactures ratings for flow and sucks up detritus and small debris with ease.. not sure how long it will last but for $9.00 I’ll just buy another if it fails. I did pump lots of plain water through and rinsed it well after use because the instructions said not for corrosive liquids.

I use mine every week for water cahnges and to refill my ATO. Been running great for about a year.

good to hear it’s holding up long term.. I was also thinking this would be great for cleaning out those small hard to reach back chambers in AIO tanks.
