Hey everyone, over the last few days I have noticed little brownish/greenish/white dots (hard to see the color because they're so small) all over my glass. They don't move around so they aren't copepods or anything and it is hard to get off. It only comes off if I scrape it with my nail or something. I googled it and saw a few forums saying it's coralline algae which can't be because my tank isn't even 2 months old yet. Any idea what kind of algae it is (if it even is algae)?

Nah, sounds like spirorbid worms to me. I have them all over my sump.

Renee has some good pics here:

Hmm, from what I can see online those are actually bigger than what I have. Maybe all in the baby stage? They're small enough that my eyes can't focus on them at all. While looking at them I did find some copepods which is the first I've seen in this tank :D and the mystery spots are actually smaller then the copepods

Yes, they can be pretty small at first. And the ones in the pictures look white, but mine were more of a brownish, off-white color.
