Why does all my hard coral get algae on it?

Algae grows on dead skeleton. Health corals dont grow algae.

Check your nitrate which can affect alk. Assure also that your phos-salinity-calcium are not elevated.
How much flow are you providing ?

Too much light. Not enough light. Too much flow. Not enough flow. Not enough calcium. To high alkalinity. Too low alkalinity. Damage from Adjacent corals. Not cut/fragged properly. Something nipping or eating it.
