Hard green algae growing on tank glass

Is this just something I have to deal with? My 60 gallon forms a hard to scrub off green algae on the glass every 2-3 days. Is there anything I can do to make cleaning up easier than scrubbing it like mad.

Could it be coraline algae or do you think it is something else.
If its coraline then you might try using a scraper
