My current sump area is a mess and difficult to work in, so I’ve decided to hard plumb.

I am looking for opinions on working with 2 cor-20s (I have 1 now), plumbing in a JBJ chiller and uv sterilizer. The chiller and sterilizer have different flow rates, so I have them on different ball valves and on different pumps.

Was thinking the ball valve between pumps is always closed and opened if one pump is down.

Any suggestion for me? Anyway I can simplify this?

(The sketch doesnt show drain lines into sumps.)

Thank you!

If want to put a bypass you'll need a valve off each pump if not when you open the middle valve most of the water will just pass through the pump that is off back into the sump
