I know people have done this before, but cant seem to find a definitive answer. Id like to ditch the compression with barb fittings and hard plumb from a manifold. Will any ol compression to pvc coupler work? Or is there a better way of doing this...

If you find out I'd love to know. I paid like 70$ for new compression fittings as the old ones were leaking when I bought it used. But chillers vibrate, so I would think flex tubing would be a good idea.

I guess your right, I didn't think of that. I've seen what looks like guys are doing is putting in a PVC pipe into the compression fitting and then connecting whatever plumbing to the system. To me this seems mickey mouse. I have seen a picture of what looks like someone put a mpt to pvc coupler, but not sure how well this would hold seal - as well is I cant seem to find that picture anymore.

I bought used chiller and previous owner used threaded pvc couplings. Should be doable. Need to try some various sizes pvc couplings, of course remove compression nuts first

If someone finds the answer that would be great, I hate compression fittings like the devil. I assumed the threads on the compression fitting were proprietary like unions etc...
