Hard shell problem

These showed up out of nowhere. They tend to like places out of the light. What are they and do they have an enemy to eradicate them. Please help

Do they have a shell? Or are they more "wormy"?

@Tony1414 That looks like a chiton, a mollusk with a multi-segmented shell . If so, they are generally considered beneficial clean-up-crew.

Pull them out and send them to me! I'd be glad to take them.

In actuality, I don't think wrasses will kill them unless maybe the chitons are very small. They are well-armored with their shell, so I'm not sure any fish will eat them or if they have any other predators.

I was going to say the same hahaha reefcleaners has these guys for $5/each and they usually sell out fast. (they're in stock now of course )
