Hard shelled shrimp and valentini puffer

liveaquaria.com says to feed a valentini puffer hardshell shrimp to help wear down their teeth. Would this be shell on shrimp from the market? Does anyone have a preferred food to help wear them down? Thanks.

I add dwarf cerith snail to my tank a few times a year. My Valentini loves them. And it seems to be doing the job for its teeth. I’ve only had it a little over a year now so that may not be long term enough to know.

I think you can email the liveaquaria customer service and they can tell you what they mean by hard shell shrimp

Yep. And the things are super cheap. I get them from reefcleaners.
