Hard time keeping PPE's

I have had these for a few months now. I got 4 polyps and now there are 6. so they are multiplying but they look like crap. They are all shrivled and almost look like they are melting. There are days that they look decent but the skirt is still not extended. When I got them they looked like this

Now they look like this:

What do I do??

i can see speckles.....so i suspect too much light.

also, giving them a "zoa dip" may also help refreshen them up a bit.

They are way low in my tank. The first picture with the speckels was the week I got them. The Speckles disappeared a while back.

try exposing them to a little more flow.. or if they're getting a lot of flow, try putting them into lesser flow..

What's a Zoa dip?

I dipped them in Lugol's about a week or two ago and they looked better for a day or two and then back to looking bad after that.

perhaps they aren't getting enough flow if the skirts are short.

then theres the other possibility that something is eating them.

I took them out of my 120 and put them in my 29 Gallon Biocube ... they share the same sump and they are the same water .. just different light and flow.

Also in doing so I noticed that there is another polyp coming ... so it's gone from 4 to 7 in 3-4months ... I can't understand it. I'll let you know how it goes.
