I have to take down my 75 gal due to moving but the new landlord is letting me have a small tank. I was building a 20 gal frag tank that I am now gonna finish and make into a reef tank complete with sump. My question is i cant use the skimmer or pump from the 75 they are too big but i would like to keep them in case i can build another big tank down the road.
How do i clean them so in a year or so they will still work or is that not possible and i should just sell them in the forum
thanks

Soak in vinegar with water and clean them. I'd remove the impeller from the pumps of you're going to store long term. Some of the newer impeller made of molded plastic that swollen up over time.
