So my Hardwicke wrasse is rubbing up against my pumps intake tube he has been going at it for about ten minutes I don't see anything on his body that would indicate a fungus or parasite. Any idea what he is up too?

Been considering getting one of these. Could you post a pic?
Sorry I can't help on that one.

He stopped the behavior lol he is a feisty one and yeah if I can get a decent shot because he is way fast zips about the tank all day

It might be a territorial display; can you describe the behavior in a bit more detail?

I will also note Thalassoma wrasses are a tough-go to pull off in a reef tank.

Well he is in a fish only tank and he was rubbing his side in a quick manner across the tube for the pump
