Hardy acros that pop under blue lights?

I love the look of my green acro (echinata?) colony under blues, but a number of my acro frags look dark or dull under blues, and better when my t5s are on.

What are some decently hard and fast growing acros that really pop under blues only?

I know there's some amazing super expensive acros (e.g. walt disney) but approx $100 would be the most I'd spend on a frag/colony.

With that price point you might be hard pressed to find anything. Have you checked Facebook for a local reef club? We have one here in Arizona, and people are always giving away stuff or selling for crazy cheap prices.
Also, have you considered other SPS besides Acros? Like the Forest Fire Monti? Bright red, white and glowing yellow growth tips. Or maybe a Radioactive Birdsnest?

Aquasd.com has Walt Disney for $135 +10% off = $122. After tax and shipping would be more. Just remembered seeing them on there for cheapish. I avoid acros myself, good luck!

There are dozens of acros frags under $100...........in fact most are under 100. Buy locally or from reef hobbyists. Vendors have ballooned up prices especially over the past 2-3 years and even more so since March when the virus hit.

As far as what pops...........green, orange and yellow will pop more under blue lights.
Heavy blue lighting is going to make, blue, purple and red corals look duller and give the tank a dark cave look. This has to do more with how our eyes work as the light diminishes.

Quite looking at macro pictures from above of people's tanks with heavy blue and also orange filtering. A Walt Disney colony is going to look like a big light green/yellow coral from two feet away, as are most of those high end botique corals.......they're all hype and the focus is in inch away viewing or a branch from the coral not the overall look of the colony.

You want all colors to pop then leave your T5s on longer to add more white. Blue leds can have a diminishing return on looks......some adds pop, too much darkens the tank.

Focus on the corals that have bright colors in contrast to each other within the coral that are visible from 2 feet away.
