Waving hand Anthelia. Some people claim it can be hard to grow. I disagree. It grows in almost no light and in poor water quality. What are some the best corals for beginners? Corals that you would almost have to try to kill for them to not survive.
Personally I hate this topic. The easy to grow, not even an atomic bomb can stop, can and will take over your tank. The problem with them is that most are literal weeds in the reef and putting them in there without isolating on an island will become problematic when you know you’re stuff and want to try some harder corals. I’ve seen the “easy” ones grow OVER other corals. When you want to have an amazing looking reef but you have to toss all your rock and start over is a horrible feeling. Best to let your tank run it’s course and get stable, then try zoas/palys, mushrooms (although those also spread easily) or leathers.
