I have an snake eel and we just got a harlequin shrimp who’s pretty tiny, would the eel eat the shrimp or Will he just leave him alone, the shrimp is in a separate tank than the eel for now

In a really large tank with lots of live rock it has a higher chance of surviving. In my experience shrimp are pretty sneaky when given live rock and it'll probably survive. Not sure how large your tank is though. If you were to put the eel and the shrimp in an empty tank it still might not eat it if it is full. Especially because a small shrimp won't make a good meal. So I would say go for it if your tank is over 65 gallons large. W/lots of live rock of course. The eel might not even notice it is alive.
