Harlequin Tusk Acting Strange

I Purchased a 6" harlequin Tusk 10 Days ago. It was eating everything, Spirulina Brine Shrimp, Gumbo, LRS,Krill, Squid,Rods. The last 2 days it has stopped eating the bulky food and only eats small Krill, Mysis, Brine Shrimp. Should I be concerned. He is in QT Tank 50 Gallons and has no signs of disease

As long as he is eating I would not be overly concerned, when they don't eat and the color begins to fade that is usually when I begin to worry.

I have not seen the Poop.

My best guess is the you have been feeding him heavy and he is full so only eats sml amounts at a time. As preveously stated colour on tusks is a good indicator. Make sure he has hiding places and of course good water quality.

I find it hilarious that we all are ultra-concerned about our fish's eating habits.....as we sit and watch them while we are eating a Triple Whooper with bacon, large fries and an extra large MtDew.

Yes you could be right. He grabs food at top takes it to the bottom, spits it out and eats it again. Perhaps he is full.
