Harlequin Tuskfish questions

Well I pulled the trigger and got one. The lfs ordered it from Quality marine and the only store here has very bad holding tanks so I decides to take it in the bag it was shipped in. When I finally got him in the tank yesterday he seemed to float to the surface a lot. It has not come out all day until the lights went off I could see it in the dark and I can't tell of it's just a little stressed so it's swimming to the surface or if it's floating. Also seems to get pushed Mbundu my power heads a good bit. But again also kinda looks like it's just feeling things out. I'm having a hard time telling. Any suggestions?

Upon further review it seems to be swimming stronger the longer I watched. Also keeps swimming from the sand bed to the surface then repeat the whole length of the tank (6ft)

At this point there Is not much you can do.Hopefully he will come around. Hope for the best.

So my tusk has pulled through and looks really good. I have been feeding it some krill for now. I feed more than that but it will not come out of the rocks its hiding in. It shows interest in all the other food I feed the tank but wont venture out far enough to get any. Its been almost two weeks. Is this normal behavior?

I have had mine now for about 3 months and he loves krill and everything else. Even though my maroon clown will not leave him alone he stills stays out. Maybe with time yours will too. As long as he is eating everything should be fine.

Yeah he eats pretty well. Just a little skeptical about it at first when he sees the tongs but if I give it a little wiggle he moves in and takes a bite. At first I thought my sailfin may have been being a jerk but every now and then the tusk will venture out and turn around and go back in. I don't see the sailfin actually going after the tusk. Thanks for the info.
