Harold's Acrolandia Reefer 350

I am new-ish to the hobby and after 6 months with a nano, I have taken the plunge and bought the Reefer 350. Any advice would be gratefully received.

First questions (of many I suspect). How many bags of sand. I am in the UK so I need to convert this to KG. [emoji3]

I was feeling generous so converted it for you, 45.3592 kilograms!

Here is my huge photoshoot!

Looks nice. Did you have any problems during the transfer?
I just got a Reefer. Didn't set it up yet because I have to move my 75 gallon. I have a lot of corals, mostly sps and zoas. Was going to have both tanks running at the same time but that's a lot in my living/dining room.
Like the refugium setup.

No issues during the transfer. I ran the Reefer 350 with 100lbs of new live sand for a week with some dirty filter floss and the skimmer on to get the bacteria going and skim out the new sand junk and then just transferred everything over

Very nice job!

Love your build! How do you like the aquamaxx co-1 skimmer? I'm thinking about using one on my new build and seems like yours is keeping up with the tank.

tank looks very neat can't wait tonsure it after ur frags have grown.

It works great! Once set I haven't adjusted it at all, gets nice dark skimate all the time.

I added a shelf to support my doser and make the right side cabinet more useful to me.

Handful of macros! (Using stock lens and extension tube; no autofocus)
