Hart's 120 3/4" starfire expansion!

Oh that would be an amazing display. Rimless?

That would sure be a cool tank. You talk with then about glass thickness? Wonder if you could do 1/2.

Nice. That would save a lot of $$ and weight.

Still expensive decided to go shallow and maybe get rid of the 300.

Playing around with settings and the big help is a tripod. Not amazing, but sure better than iphone!

My friend came over to give me some tips on shooting coral. He took a few pics with his fancy camera to show that over 3 grand of gear makes my used $250 camera suck. Haha.

That one is a pectinia. There is a bubblegum monster and bazooka joe in there but no photos of those.

Well its awesome I have a chalice the same colors thats why I was asking .

Bubble coral my friend took a pic of. They are really neat macro. This guy has been interesting, half of it died a while ago - but the rest has been doing great. My lps suffered from a clownfish that "loved" them too much. Would wound them and then brown jelly... Got rid of it and no problems since.

Gotta give a shout to aquaSD, bought some frags from the blackfriday sale and everything arrived in good shape and with 2 freebies, always nice! I think shipping always zaps the colors a bit, so hopefully they will be back and pretty soon.

Dang. I use Randy's/BRS2 part recipe and normally just check alk to make sure all is good. Lesson being to test calcium every so often too! Alk at 7, calcium at 300! Brought it up to 450, now need to see if maybe I didn't make the calcium correctly this time or if the doser is off. Not noticed any trouble in the tank, the huge coco worm even put down some new material, but happy to catch it.

I think that I will be giving away the large softies. Even with the new tank they just grow too quick. I have not noticed any problems with chemical warfare, and I really like the color and movement, but it's hard enough keeping room open!

Tank is finished and should be shipped this week. How exciting! Got the foam cut - 3rd try is the charm. Hard to get it exact, so the gf stepped in and did it. She is much more careful than I am. Nice thing about replacing the stand top with plywood, took out the 3/4" beam for 1/2" plywood so the trim is 1/2" deep. The foam sits flush now, so that is nice!
