DD had one today. Anyone know if they are aggressive? Anyone have any experience with them? Not much on them online. Thanks for all your help!

A bit more aggressive than the average Halichoeres for sure, and a motile invert eating machine. ;)

I've been talking to the LA guy about this specific wrasse. He says that he seems pretty mellow. Would it be worth the risk having first hand knowledge of the actual fish? Or are they prone to getting more aggressive as they get settled (like a Labouts, for example)? Wondering how much weight specific personality may carry with a species like this. Would that move the needle on your decision in your tank, ie if you could observe him first? Thanks again Hunter.

Temperaments can always vary specimen to specimen. It's possible it could be very mild. But the diet will be universal.
If you're okay with that, it could be a low risk gamble.
