I have been dosing vibrant twice a week for a couple of months now with no effect on bryopsis. Just wondering if anyone else has had success?

Fluconazole. There are plenty of forums in here about it. Works great with no issues.
Thanks for the reply. Yea I've read some of those threads, I really not crazy about turning my skimmer off for 2 or 3 weeks though. And just curios if anyone has had any luck with the vibrant.UWC claims that it will

I treated mine with Fluco and left the skimmer online the entire time just to see what would happen. Seems to have worked very well. I did buy enough Fluco for 2 treatments in case it didn't work, so that will stay stashed away in the event I get another outbreak.

Yup

You can leave your skimmer on during fluconazole treatment. Just make sure it doesn't wet skim. I came across a few failed treatment posts but those went ahead with much lower dosage. Don't waste time and money with lower dosage, go ahead with recommended amount if you choose fluconazole path.

I'm using fluconazole, on day 3 and just started to see some noticeable die-off:

All of the patches in the tank have white tips like that now.

I had a major Bryop outbreak and tried the Vibrant treatment after it first came out. For the first 2-3 weeks of treatment, I pulled as much as possible with the treatment. After weeks 4-6, my Bryop issues were gone. Still get the occasional pop ups but no major issues since treatment. Now I just take extra care when introducing new livestock and watch my nutrients. Crossing my fingers, 6 mths. later and no new outbreaks. JME.

I'm on day 6 with flucon and 50% of the algae has died off. My skimmer has been on the whole time, but I set the skimmer on the lowest setting. Reason for leaving my skimmer on is because I use a co2 scrubber to keep my pH up. I also have a small refrigium which I think helps with some of the dye off. My nutrients is still pretty low.

I had an outbreak early on with my tank and I was able to just flip all the affected rocks over. No light, no bryopsis. Nearly a year later and have never gotten any since.

How many times a week were you dosing vibrant?
