Has anyone been to Reef A Palooza before?

Hi all, just wondering if it is anything like Macna (speakers, give away, samples, raffles etc....) as it will be held close to me which makes it possible for me to attend.

Went to reefapalooza in California for the first time this year. Thought it was awesome. Speaker, some freebees and lots of vendors.

Oh that's great. my original question was if RAP had raffles like Macna but one of the other members posted that they had speakers, some freebies and vendors but did not mention the raffles so I assumed

Not sure as I have never been to RAP but I would assume Macna is bigger as it is a 3 day event with banquets and receptions Besides all the vendors, free goodies and raffles, a lot of the vendors themselves have independent raffles and give away tanks, equipment, and livestock. I hope RAP does too but I'm sure it will be fun either way. I will be celebrating my birthday in April and the trip will be my gift to myself

I got my plane ticket this weekend! Leaving Friday coming back Sunday... long way for just a couple days but should be worth it!

I'm flying down from VA. Never been to an event like this. Does anyone know if TSA will let me bring coral and/or fish back? Carry-on or checked bag?
