Last night I watching one of my peppermint shrimp tip over one of my trochus snails to eat him. I flipped him back over and this morning I woke up to this, 4 nassarius snails pushing the trochus while the shrimp eats him. We’re the nassarius snails trying to protect him or were they getting a meal also?

I would imagine the snail was probably dead. The shrimp was just doing his job.

+1 I think most creatures are opportunistic

Peppermint shrimp will persue what their appetites call for. I don’t trust them
