Okay, not literally. But I've got a bully. I now have three anthias in my tank. The first added was a stocky pink anthias, largest in the tank. The second was a lyretail, and for a few days I thought I might have to remove the pink due to bullying. However, it ended and things are par. I just added a Fathead Sunburst. Its the smallest of the three and doesn't seem to be adapting quite as fast as the lyretail. So I thought I'd try and separate the fish for now while the Fathead gained its strength and confidence. I divided my tank using some egg crate. Has anyone ever done this before? Im curious to see what happens.

Yes, very inventive

Turn your white spectrum down below 5 hours at %31 and watch the cyano go away;)

Sunburst anthias are very shy and can take a while before they’re out and about on a regular basis.

I’ve only done that in a QT tank. Worked well

I'd read where sunburst were very shy. I'm gonna see how this goes with her eating. I fed a little just a while ago and it ate. Thats a positive sign. Its found a glass corner where it swims up against the current. Doesn't go anywhere. Just constant swimming. I'm hoping it will begin the explore and swim around. It does swim around when the pumps are off. But goes right back to that corner when everything cranks up. Strange.

They tend to stay in one area of the tank like clowns typically do. If it’s eating, it will be fine.

HMMM so there is no way to turn down your white spectrum? @crabs_mcjones

USMC has a good screenshot of our controls. Those diatoms come and go. I feed reef roids about every other week and usually get a bloom. I fed yesterday. It’s almost automatic. It doesn’t seem to last long. But I’d prefer to avoid it. Always open to suggestions.

The only way is to turn the color wheel to a bluer setting.

This,

The bluer you go on the color wheel, the more whites it takes out. Deep ocean blue is the bluest setting you can choose and has virtually no white red or green. I personally never go any further on the color wheel then the 4th blue setting.

Jsker, what light control is that? I have Kessil AP700. I don't have that ability. I like those controls!
I run Hyrda's and as soon as I limited my white time and intensity my tank has been clear on cyano and diatoms.

I’m with you USMC. I keep mine very blue.

I was very clear on my instructions.I cannot believe they did not listen. They were supposed to stay on their side while the Great Wall of Aquaria was in place. I got up this morning and many fish had exchanged sides, including the Sunburst. The Sunburst had crossed over to the bully's side. So I guess, in theory, I may have been on to something. But I'm gonna need some bigger fish to pull it off. I saw the Lyretail figure it out it could squeeze through the openings. I guess throughout the night it passed the word.
