I moved a rock and didnt see that my anemone was atached on the bottom side of another rock and tore it in 2 , does anyone know what I should do now? Will it die and contaminate the tank? thanks

Did you get part of the mouth on each half? If so, they could fully heal into 2 nems. Just place them in a low flow area and give some time to heal. Don't lose hope until they clearly have not recovered. Most nems need a few hours to look somewhat normal after artificial splitting.

I have damaged anemones, in the past. I've had an RBTA that was anchored to two adjoining rocks. When I moved some rocks around, I ripped it's foot. It split a couple of days later. This has actually happened twice, both times, injury was caused the same way, both times, the anemone split within two days.

I've also had an RBTA get caught, not once, but twice in two weeks, in a power head. The first time, very little damage was done, so I left the anemone in the display to heal. A few days later, it got caught again, and was completely shredded. I put it in the refugium to heal. A few days later, it seemed to be doing much better. I gave it to a friend, to put it in her display tank. This was several years ago and it's thriving and has split numerous times since then.

Not sure, but they are still attached to the botton side of the rock and part of the rose bulb is inflatingon 1 and peaking out of the rock the other part Im not so sure of, thanks for some hope though. My 1st anemone and I sick about what happened
