Hi, I have this Red Yellow Eye Goniopora in my tank for a week now and still haven't managed to get it open completely ... Any tips ? or if anyone has got one to open how long it took them?

I keep my goni low in tank and pristine water and feed often. They do not like too much light. I have high nutrient export and feed all the time. Not sure if that is why mine has been happy from day one.
Of course need calcium, mag and alk within optimal range, sp. gr. at 1.025-26 and my temp is right at 80. hope that helps.

Thats a miniflower it not open much

Yeah I know this species doesn't open as much but at the store it was opened a lot more... It just opened this much today.... it was almost completely shut for the past week so it lost a little color

So you think where mine is located is too much light ? Are you suggesting to put in the sand ?
