In a typical reef we see marinepure of other biomedia used to supplement the denitrification of the existing live rock. But we dont typically have the same stocking levels. So, have you ditched live rock completely and embraced biomedia completely? If not, why not?

A cryptic fuge with several 100lb's of fresh liverock is great, but it comes at a steep cost - and it takes up quite a bit of space.

A supplemental question whilst we are on this subject. Are you using your live rock bin to cure dry rock to also sell/trade?

I'm not ditching live rock and BRS came to the same results that I came to with man made bio-media.

Then Ryan dumped future testing because the Marine Pure blocks were leaching aluminum into his water column from reading his Triton report.

No live rock, sulfur denitrator(s). Depends on bio load.

Almost 18" tall. Miss this one.
