Has anyone modified a 29 Biocube into a sump/refugium?

I have a 29 biocube that I just upgraded to a 60 rimless cube. I don't have a sump for it (the guy gave me a 10 gallon that he used...sounds risky.

I'm thinking of modifying the biocube after I transfer to the 60 to become a sump/display refugium for Algea/frag set up. And was wondering if anyone had any experience or pointers in this?

Why not just use the biocube for a qt instead?

Small apartment lol. I would have gone with a bigger tank if I could but a 60 cube amazingly fits where my bc29 fits.

Hell yeah... And loving it! I'd be so scared for the ppl under me if not I still have fw tanks to sell out lol.

Yes! I did this a couple years ago.

I have a complete super nano con dientes kit from glass holes. I only used the drill bit. I already had the plumbing. If you want it I can send it for the cost of shipping.

Custom built glass sump. Small skimmer. Don't remember the brand. Was pretty awesome!

I left the false wall in the back just used it as an overflow box.

Woah nice! I may take you up on that offer. Do you have pics of it?
My plan was to do a Home Depot run and cut the glass myself lol.

Im wanting to do this with my jbj28!! Im still trying to figure it out my self, but it would be for a 30g long! And reefbuzz, if aquaterra doesn't want that kit I would surely take it to help me on my way!
