So I've never been able to get the correct spectrum or happy corals with these lights even though the pars just fine. tops around 375 sands around 150 and i ordered the 24 inch to go over my 36 inch so i have some low light areas with par as well. I just can't seem to make the corals happy though running the sps schedule off of reefbreeders site is there a better schedule available?

I seriously suspect your issue with 'unhappy' corals isn't due to the light. Except maybe due to too much light? 375 and 150 PAR levels may be a bit high for corals not accustom to that level of PAR. I seriously doubt that spectrum is the issue, although I don't know exactly what Logan (Reef Breeders) has set up as an sps schedule. BTW, just what kind of corals do you have in your tank?

First, what is it that makes you think your coral is 'unhappy'?

Is this a new tank set up or just a new light fixture over an older tank that's been running? If so, what was the old light fixture?

I have been using Photons for years. Even if you run just the blue channels (2) at some power, say 80% and then the white channel at half that, with no violet, red or green, you should get 'happy' corals. I run some violet and almost no red or green (just 10% for 4 hours during my midday peak lighting.

And yes, a 24" Photon will have dimmer edges on a 36" tank.
