Has anyone used slacked lime??

Slacked lime is calcium hydroxide which is what kalkwasser is but I imagine it would be heaps stronger than the Lfs variety has anyone tried it????

Same thing and the same as pickling lime all ase calcium hydroxide I have used all 3 nothin different other then price and name

Water can only hold so
Much calcium before it precipitates out as a solid. So using something that has more calcium than regular kalk or pickling lime is pointless

You can mix vinegar to change the ph of the kalk mixture to allow more calcium to further saturate the water
