Has anyone used the Life Rock before

Hey all,
Still new to this and setting up a new tank. I've been seeing a lot about the new Carib Sea Life Rock? Any experience with this? Is there a better option out there?

Also thinking of using the Innovative marine Mini Reactor? Does this seem to be one of the better reactors on the market?

Open to any advice on products i should look into. i.e dosing pumps, lighting, best supplements.

Tank is an Innovative Marine Nuvo 40.

I'm using "real reef rock" which is basically the same stuff.
have no issues so far. Some people feel its better suited for FO tanks rather than reef. however, all my corals look happy and healthy at this point and my LFS only uses it in his tanks and all of them look amazing (LPS, SPS, softies, all of it)

we spent a lot of time researching different dry rock and decided on BRS's reef saver as it was very reasonably priced and easy to stack for aqua-scaping and we read good things about it. we found the "colored" rock (like the Life Rock) to be quite expensive in comparison - basically as expensive as buying live rock from our LFS. The cheaper, uncolored, dry rock will eventually get the purple color, you just gotta be patient. Heard great things about Pukani sold by BRS - very porous, which you want. But twice as much as reef saver.

I just set up a tank with the life rock and love it. My LFS had both life rock and real reef brand and I thought the life looked better and felt more porous . Oh and the best part is that life rock is a lot cheaper

The biggest difference that I noticed between the two (real reef rock and BRS reef saver) is the density. the reef saver I purchased was very dense, so the 25 lbs I ordered was only 3 pieces total. With the real reef rock I received almost 10 pieces.
All three are good rock, it really comes down to what your looking for.
