Has anyone used this in their tank?

Saw this at a tourist trap type place and thought it would be kewl to use as rock to put my frog spawns on. Anyone put something like this in their tank? If so, what did you do to get

it tank safe?

I placed some of the giant barnacles in my system. Been in there for a couple years by now. Before placing in the tank, I soaked it in water and Seachem Prime mixture over night, rinsed the following day with RODI, then a final rinse in pre-made saltwater mix.

Did you by chance purchase any of those already and was it in Navarre, FL? Just curious.
