I have a 210 gallon tank with a 75 gallon fuge. I started out with about 90-100lbs of live rock that came with the tank (tank was still set up when we bought it). Currently have 200lbs of live rock. Just tested my parameters and here is where I am at : PH-8.1 Nitrate-8.0 Nitrite-0ppm Ammonia- 0.15 I am using API test kits. Does it seem like the tank is done cycling ?

The API test is tricky for ammonia, make sure that the test tube is absolutely clean before testing. Rinse it out a lot! It's easy to give false readings between 0 and 0.25 IMHO.

No, if your still picking up ammonia, its not done yet. Test your RO water with the API, if it reads 0, then at least you know its working properly.

Other then the ammonia, do the other parameters seem to be on track? I will retest the ammonia. If the ammonia truly is 0, can I try adding a coral to see how it does? I am transferring everything from my 40 gal to this 210 gal

If your going to add a coral first, I'd add a hardy one to begin with, but yea, if its 0 go ahead.

We have a waving hand that we are thinking of adding first. I retested the ammonia after rinsing the tube out several times. The ammonia is 0...yay!!
