From what I see in the pic, it looks like....twins! Congratulations!
Cigars?Hilarious [emoji23] Twins it is..
Ya, we have 7 nems and 2 clowns. They have 1 favorite nem. You would think they would want their own but nope.Yeah... they've both deflated and clearly, they've split. No cigars, but I am giving away free Zoa frags (seriously). LOL
I'm a bit concerned... I had the Zoa growth explosion I posted about a few days ago. Now this. I've had some people tell me that a Nem splits when it is stressed and others say that it is happy and healthy when it splits.
So which is it?
I guess the pair of Ocellaris clownfish that I currently have in QT will each get a Nem!

I have never had any problems with nems and have never lost one. Are yours housed in the same tank as the ones you lost in the past? Same lights? Did you ever pinpoint why you might have lost them? The last time I had a Nem that split, neither one made it. How should I handle this?

Just leave them be. They will find comfy spots. The last time I had a Nem that split, neither one made it. How should I handle this?

I had a nem that cost me $200 split a week after I bought it! I just let them be so the mouths could heal. Thankfully I already had one nem that my clown was hosting so he didn’t bother the twins during their healing time. I also didn’t feed until a week after the mouths were healed. They’re still doing great, no issues
