Ok I am looking for some expert help here not really expert but just some help. So I got into the hobby about 7 months ago with this AIO. I didn’t know anything and just jumped in below are pictures of my tank. I feel like my scape is awful and setup all wrong. Nothing is epoxied because I didn’t know I was suppose to. I think I have to much rock for a 24 gallon tank. I just don’t really like the look. So please tell me your thoughts on the set up and what would you do in my spot. Can I even do anything like take it all out and change it also epoxy it then put it back in? Should I just stop and leave it alone? I am open to any feedback.

So its all personal preference, your scape is not terrible, I'm guessing its just not what you expected after seeing a ton of meticulously done scapes online.

Your options are endless, but any big changes can have a negative affect on your tanks stability so its important to keep an eye on your nutrients and other parameters when making changes to your tank.

If it was my tank I would buy some thick super glue, take a hammer to your existing rock and glue it together the way you want it. Just make sure you make little shelfs and caves to give your fish a place to hide and sleep.

googling "negative space aquascape" can be helpful for inspiration.

BRS has a few videos on how they do it

Hope this helps.

For a first tank, I think you're doing pretty good!
If anything, maybe move the rocks out away from the back wall. Use that flat rock to create a bridge or to add some other character to the tank.
Also, you do not NEED to epoxy your rocks. In 20+ years of reefing, I've never glued any of my scape in place. I'm afraid that I'll need to move rocks at some point, and all I have is a massive rock structure. I just stack things like Tetris!

I quite like your scape. But I’m not a fan of unnatural looking NSAs and arches all over the place. That said, it’s your tank, change it as you see fit (though re-scaping a tank full of livestock can be a nightmare).

Yeah the more I think about it I need to leave it alone, it has a ton of caves the fish love it the anemones love it once the coral grows in more I think I will like it more.

I like your aquascape a lot. It is way better than my first or even quite a few attempts after that. Smallish tanks are always a challenge and I personally think you nailed it.
