I start to get a outbreak of dinos a month ago, not knowing any better at the time I continue To dose Red Sea NoPox an my Nitrate an phosphates are at 0. With all the methods out there I descended to go with a more nature approach I guess. My question is what is the best way to raise No3 an Po4 up an how high? I also plan i getting a uv sterilizer this weekend. I don't want to use any harsh chemical to treat this at this time. Any other advice would be greatly appreciated

How long has your tank been running for and how much N0³P0⁴-X have you been using? What stock do you have and how much LR do you have?

to work the method I use, we need to know your total gallons of water. theres a few really good ways to battle them, also pics to ID

The way I fought dinos was I let my water dirty up a little. No water changes, and fed a little extra and turned off my skimmer. My water was too clean and if it is truly dinos, I assume your water is too clean as well.

You’ll need to find that sweet spot with nutrients and it’ll go away without causing any crazy blooms of anything else

How frequently are or were you doing water changes?

You're going to have to let the water dirty up a bit, so other things out compete the dinos.

yea i been reading it also should i shut down my protein skimmer
Certainly stop nopox. I would add some phosphates to about 0.1 ppm with flourish phosphorous or equivalent. Then get nitrates (sodium nitrate from amazon or some potassium nitrate, or stump remover) to get nitrates measurable to about 10 ppm. I would get a cheap microscope and ID them. The idea is to improve conditions so other organisms can outcompete dinos.

I haven’t used those products but I believe they are fine. I would follow directions and test often, especially at first.
