Have I been scammed on a cross damsel

Hi just bought a cross damsel and it barely has the stripes it is also brown and it’s tiny so it has to be juvenile colouration. It also looked like that at the fish shop

Mine somehow already is going into adult colouration when it’s only 1.5cm in size

How can I make his colours normal
