Have I messed up already

I’m upgrading my tank and have spent the evening washing sand with tap water. I forgot to rinse it again with RO am I already going to have problems with TDS? Can I wash it tomorrow in the tank by swirling RO and doing water changes? Help!

Welcome to R2R! I honestly don't think that the added contaminates from just wet sand is going to cause you any problems in the long run. I personally would forge ahead.

I rinsed my sand with tap water and never had any problems.

Phew thank you! I have added seachem prime to lower the chlorine etc.
It’s 100L, upgrading from a little nano

If it was my tank,i wouldn't sweat it at all. Adding some activated carbon would help pulling out most of the bad stuff in the tap, but it will be so diluted in the tank water, it will make a negligible impact.
