Looks like a type of sponge to me. If so it is not a problem.

Yup its a sponge I have the same one in my tank aand it will grow on the send and spread to another rock its a very fast growing sponge

Like clams, sponge is also very beneficial in aiding with natural filtration. You want to encourage their growth. Feeding them Phyto occasionally also help them grow faster.

will cyclops work? i dont have pyto. though i should probably invest in some lol a also saw a bristle worm, the first time ive ever seen him, hes tiny only about 1/2 an inch crawling around in one

Most sponges are quite beneficial as sponge is once for once, one of the highest ranking nutrient uptakers in the reef...
having less experimental accumulative studies to be considered "scientific acceptable evidence"
I believe there is a (yet understood) positive symbiotic correlation between sponge health and SPS health environment....
