Have to re silicone

Silicone doesnt stick to cured silicone very well.

Make sure to use a razor blade to remove all the old stuff and wipe it down with acetone or something similar but is also glass safe.

When I resealed sump than a tank I took an old credit card or hotel key card cut the corner at a 45 an used it as a scrapper to get perfect seams. The only draw back is the corners are alittle tricky to do. Also do not stick your head in the tank, the fumes from the silicone can knock you out so due it in a well ventilated area.
