Hello all i just want to share my prize of the day an the story to go along with it.
I scored a noce frag of walt disney today along with some other nice acros. How this came about is truly a streak of luck on my part and pure kindness from a fellow reefer.
I just yesterday put a feeler post out on facebook looking for local reefers with nice sps that would want to sell or trade. And i immediately was over whelmed by the messages.
But a guy by the name of brian reached out to me (not sure of his r2r name or i would tag him) he stated that he had some nice stuff and would be making a one time trip from maryland too ohio and his travels would bring him close to where i was but not directly. Well we struck and incredible deal and the deal was on.
Problem was that it was touch and go of when he would be at the agreed apon location which was difficult to manage because i had to leave many guys unsupervised to handle a very large project i was heading. So i made the decision that i was going to sneak away to go meet brian at some round about time 45 mins away from my work location.
Well that plan lasted all of an hour into my work day as an emergency call came in and now i was stuck on another job site doing 3d renderings of this medium sized building with another crew of guys waiting on direction. So immediately i phoned in a favor from my buddy who was going to leave work and meet brian for me then bring me all the frags after. Well in doing so the location had to be moved since my buddy was a former manger there and still worked for the same owner at a diffrent company and since he was sneaking away from the office to help me he didnt want to be caught lol!
After all this brian meedts my buddy i send two people money i wasnt sappose to and brian receiving nothing , he just laughed it off until i streightened it out. In the end this experience has shown me why i love this hobby and all the folks involved.
For 6 frags one person ditched work to help me and another drove 1000 miles out of his way to meet!
