Pond style - only viewable from above.
Whatever you would call the kind at a big aquarium with viewing panels into an otherwise concrete box.
Tunnels!

If going custom then you can probably make just about anything you can think of but I was referring to what a company can make and market to the general population.

I think with acrylic there could be some funky shaped tanks
But yes above list is about it for now

you can make any shape with acrylic tbh

If you wanted to you could acrylic cast out any shape frame if it's thick enough

also dont know if it counts but water bridges are pretty cool in freshwater tanks

Also stock tanks

I saw this interesting slanted tank on reddit. Not sure the purpose or benefit of such a design, but quite unique. All credit to Uchuh on r/reeftank. Not sure if they are on R2R or not.

Looks like a custom acrylic design. I have seen the glass ones where the front panel is slanted back. Supposedly that cuts down the distortion and glare when you're standing in front looking down.
For this one I think the idea is to create a sense of greater depth. Similar to freshwater planted tanks where the substrate starts low at the front and gets higher at the back. Or it could just be to make the corals more visible from a sitting position.
