Have you ever rescued near dead/sick fish?

A hobbyist brought in a near death, sick purple tang to the local fish store here- Living Art Aquarium. I first saw this fish a month ago and immediately had a bond with it. The store owner happily held the fish for me in his quarantine system while nursing it back to health.
Today I finally had the pleasure to take it home... with a couple other friends.
