[TD="class: alt1, bgcolor: #EBEBEB"]Initially appeared on newly introduced BRS Pukani rock that had been 'cooked' with Lanthumum for over 4 months (until Hanna Phosphorus Checker finally read 0 phosphorus). Spread pretty rapidly; seems to especially like coral plugs. Individual 'balls' wave in current but will not blow off with baster nor powerhead but can be scrubbed off with toothbrush or manually removed with tongs. Consistency is then similar to normal cyano.

A few have identified this as Cotton Candy algae but I thought CC was more pinkish than maroon. Anyone here have any guesses and suggestions for treatment?[/TD]
