Having problems with Skimz recirculating skimmer.

Model SM 122. First of all which way do you turn the dial to lower water height in the skimmer body? Then how do you minimize cup overflow. I feed the skimmer off a tee off my return line.

Clockwise lowers the water height. Counter clockwise opens it up and raises the water height.

I set to the recommended water level with the feed pump and then fine tune adjust after the recirculating pump is turned on.

That's what I thought. I have it turned all the way clockwise. No feed pump, tee'd off return.

Now open it slowly when the return is on and you will fill with water. Enjoy!

Then slowly turn the water supply on? You're talking open the valve on water feed line and not the valve on the output pipe?

How about adjusting the air intake?
