Hello how is everyone I’m new to this hobby and it’s a great PTSD cure for me ! I use this website constantly for Great information !
Figured I’d post a question seeking help

The Aquarium :

Water tests :

everything is perfect using my salt water “master” test kit

I’ve bought this aquarium months ago let it run for around 4-4.5 months prior to adding fish !

The situation is this

I buy a Fish or a few fish I will put them in the tank everything is great ! Then within days I see 1 then 2 acting weird - Loss of energy , kinda “dazed or High” acting with swimming actions etc , they also turn Lighter then pass over night

This morning - to - after work my Pair of Dot dash butterfly’s passed away !

This pair was together for several months supposedly and I bought them as a pair

They shown NO signs of problems
Aggressive eaters , investigative swimmers , they were beautiful now this morning I woke up and seen the male (idk it was smaller than the other ) in the corner up against the glass I thought he was dead i Scooped him with the net to inspect him for damage or signs ? Then when he hit the air he completely freaked out flapping showing a lot of energy I put him back in and figured he was adjusting or sunthing etc , , he did use “boosts” of energy to glide around the tank but he did eat when I morning fed just 5% of the normal amount

Lest for work came home he was still “drunk” acting and his mate or companion what ever they’re situation was , was in there underpass completely dead upside down ?! The male from the morning was still flickering around I grabbed a acclimation box and he passed a hr or so later

Now upon inspecting All my fish in the tank I’m noticing a light coloring on my baby Koran angel fish ! No other fish show any signs of Agression towards each other

A suggestion would be to check your ammonia level. your system is pretty new and the system should be cycled so that you can start introducing fish.

hi are you qt these new fish

It sounds like oxygen deprivation. What do you have for flow? What size tank? What is your salinity and temperature? Pictures of your system and the fish would be helpful.
