Having trouble with new tank

Morning update. Should I add the Fishless cycle ammonia now ?

if you wanted, i would add some to see if it shows a detectable amount of ammonia, and then see if it goes away. if you had detectable amount of ammonia at one point, and you dont anymore, then it should be indicative of a finished cycle. if you add ammonia, you will have to wait for the ammonia to go away, but if it does go away, then its just another clue that says your cycle is done

Thanks I added more ammonia to see if it will be gone tomorrow to be sure the cycle has been completed . I just don’t want to hurt the fish I eventually will get.

Nightly update have done absolutely nothing to it today
Looks to me like you are done. So as to the fishless method bring ammonia up to 4ppm and check in 24 hours. If it is zero you are done end of all the input from everyone

Awesome thank you all so much for helping I felt so terrible for losing my clowns earlier. I just wanted to do the right things. It’s awesome to have a place you can ask questions and get help. The pet stores aren’t always that helpful

Ugh I’m getting so close. Patience is a virtue

Unless you did a water change looks like the skimmer is working. Just need the second bacteria to grow more to get Nitrite down. It will seem like it happens overnight when it does.
Yeah that’s what I’m waiting on and yes no water changes I’ll send another update tonight.

Morning update. I moved some of the live rock but that’s all I did with the tank.

Looking good. You should follow my post about my tank. I am in the ugly stage now. With algae. This cannot be avoided but you will not have to ask questions as quite a few people have responded

Clearly I’m getting close the second bacteria just isn’t all the way there 64011330-438E-4B49-8969-38AF621CCFD6.jpeg

So this happened would love to know if I’m cycled or need to do ammonia one more time 03E9CA5F-8948-4DFA-9A3C-E43EA8393AF0.jpeg
